9. Approaching Christmas time in London
Daniel, wearing his moose hat, is getting into the Christmas spirit!
On the night of the 11th Dec, we were treated to a wonderful blanket of snow that gently fell all night.
The night pictures are from outside Daniel and Ellen's flat, and the day pics were taken just around the corner in Clapham Common.
That snow teddy was the best 'snowman' ever! Someone was very clever and he lasted a long time.
Approaching the winter solstice meant that daylight was limited. The sun was setting at 4.30pm around this time. This was the highest the sun got during the day. It rose from the left-hand side and set to the right-hand side of the pic. A bit eerie when you're not used to it. Feels like you're too close to the north pole. Oh, wait...
