36. Cornwall UK - St Ives ... We will miss you
Our last day in St Ives... It has been one of our favourite places to stay. The natural beauty, the people, the village atmosphere and the laid-back lifestyle appealed to us both.
The bakeries created some masterpieces.
Walking along the beach we found many a boat waiting for the 6.2-metre tide to come in.
And... more dog patting.
Off to London now to see our Daniel and Ellen for a few days.
We have signed up for a website seeking house sitters who look after pets while their owners are away. We have our first gig in West London starting on the 9th through to the 14th of April and a second one in Folkstone which is on the eastern coast of England from the 30th of April until the 10th of May. If all goes well we will be travelling through the UK using this site as often as possible as we get free accommodation as payment. The cost of accommodation is the most expensive component of travelling throughout the UK so this works out as a win-win for all.
Lovely to see your travels. And the house sitting is a truly great idea!
ReplyDeleteAre you coming home with a dog....or two? 🤣
First of all, I love the Daniel boat for obvious reasons.
ReplyDeleteThe tide is impressive, your photography skills are also very good. I noticed Max befriended every doggo in town…how gorgeous they are.
The hat does indeed suit you. Mum had a good laugh!
Shall try to call you guys tomorrow.
Oh I love the hat, and the Dad joke 🤣💝
ReplyDeleteI have to say the photography is excellent, thank you so much and the house sitting is a win,,, win,,, win, and I love the hat, should have purchased that one xxx
