69. London - Penny joins us on our travels
We have a few house sits under our belt and even though we have enjoyed a vast majority of them, we have missed out on a lot of really nice ones due to being inaccessible by public transport. Also, there are a lot of areas we want to see, but require our own transport to get there. Lugging suitcases and backpacks around gets old quick. So we acquired 'Penny', a 5-and-a-half-year-old Peugeot 3008, and we now embark on adventures further afield.
So we're back at Daniel and Ellen's while we plan our next sits. Thanks guys! They're moving to Sevenoaks soon which is a beautiful village south of the greater London area. Our visits to London will be fewer as a result.
I will miss the decorated pubs on the corner.
Another quick trip to Brixton to see the house where David Bowie was born and raised (on the right) and the mural celebrating his life in the city centre. (Max: serious pic there, Pauly.)
We will miss the beautiful trees out the front of the apartment. Luckily, England is chock-a-block full of beautiful trees!
Needing to get familiar with Penny and the English roads, we decided we'd go to Wales. Max's cousin, Kaye, who lives in Caerphilly, was kind enough to put us up for a few days. Thank you, Kaye!
