78. Watford - House and Pet Sitting - Episode 18

This next sit needed us to travel just north of London to Watford where we were looking after 2 dogs that had distinctive and very different personalities.

To get there, we drove through some ordinary weather which included a traffic jam on the M25 freeway. We were pretty much on time and were met by Barbara and Peter who welcomed us warmly.

The house was a semi-detached 'two up/ two down' which meant there were two rooms upstairs and two rooms downstairs excluding bathroom facilities. It was a cosy fit that's for sure... but having said that, it was toasty warm.

Bella was odd but cute. When she wanted something, she'd just stand on her hind legs and watch you patiently. She was jealous of Alfie too. If Alfie even glanced at another female dog on our walk, Bella would certainly let him know it was VERY unacceptable behaviour.

Alfie was a very large labradoodle who was such a chilled dog. At bedtime, he had a habit of sleeping under our bed literally all night. He reminded us of Falkor from 'The Neverending Story' kids movie!

The town itself was a bit meh... There was a canal nearby where people live on their boats. Other than that, we were only there for a few days and didn't get out much as it was very cold . The photo below was taken at pretty much close to zero degrees.
