73. Stratford upon Avon - House and Pet Sitting - Episode 15

A three-hour drive from High Halden to Stratford upon Avon enabled us to look after Clemmie.

The M25 freeway that took us out of London was a challenge as it was raining and very busy with traffic. Once we hit the M40, the weather cleared and the traffic thinned out and made the rest of the journey a pleasurable drive.

We're only looking after Clemmie for two days but we have another sit just up the road for a week. We were lucky to be able to book them back to back.

Clemmie is not yet one year old and even though she was a bit of a handful at times, she was a gentle and lovely-natured puppy. We are told she is an American Labrador.

The house is a 3-bedroom renovated barn and quite cute with the original trusses in place.

Very chilled puppy (At night anyway)

Is it my playing that puts dogs to sleep?

A view from the back of the property

The two days went quick and before we knew it we were familiarising ourselves with a new place and new dogs.
